Florida's anti-sanctuary city law requires state and local entities and law enforcement agencies to enforce federal immigration laws and support ICE. This will lead to racial profiling, civil rights violations, further isolation of immigrant communities and family separations. Turning local police into federal immigration agents degrades trust between police and communities. Not only is it bad public policy that will hurt public safety, but it is also unconstitutional.
