Background check, orientation, and possibly fingerprinting required. Opportunities with Escuelita Maya are located at Highland Elementary and South Grade Elementary.
Otherwise, are you bilingual? We have classes for newly arrived teens from 5-7pm Mondays through Thursdays. This opportunity is most effective for you and the kids if you speak Spanish. Availability and need for volunteers, activities, and requirements vary so please call or email info@guatemalanmaya.org for the most current information if you’d like to help us with the teen after school program held nightly at the Center’s main office at 430 North G Street in Lake Worth. Background check, orientation, and a weekly commitment for a minimum of 4 weeks is required.
