Access
The Guatemala Maya Center serves as a access points for applicants and recipients of ACCESS FLORIDA services. Services provided by the Department of Children and Families are: Food Stamps, Temporary Cash Assistance, Refugee Assistance, and Medical programs. The Guatemalan Maya Center serves as a point for the general public in need of these services. Additional services provided by the Center are:offer the following services at the Center:
- Computer service to apply for assistance on line.
- Informational handouts,
- Paper applications if requested by customers,
- Printer for Access documents,
- Fax machine for applications and other documents needed by DCF,
- Explanation of application process,
- Assistance submitting application, and verification of documents,
- Notary Services as requested,
- Case status information,
- Telephone access to call DCF if needed
- Translation services as needed
